Semi-Truck Inferno Erupts Inside Thief River Falls Building

THIEF RIVER FALLS, MN (trfnews.i234.me) — On Friday, April 4, 2025, just before 5:00 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to a fire at the Hartz building, located west of the high school in Thief River Falls. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a semi-truck engulfed in flames within one of the building’s stalls. The blaze completely destroyed the semi-truck and caused minor damage to an adjacent vehicle. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, though the building sustained smoke damage. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

The Thief River Falls Fire Department acted swiftly to contain and extinguish the fire, preventing further damage to the property and ensuring the safety of nearby residents.
