when an attempted robbery in grand forks on this 9 11 morning uh this in from officer sergeant cannon in grand forks uh this morning 9 11 at 6 03 a.m a male victim was walking home in the 300 block on north washington street when he was approached from behind by a suspect wearing a red black and green sweatshirt and blue jeans who claimed to be armed with a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet the suspect is described as a black male about five ten to six two with a very slender build in his early twenties the victim was able to flee the scene to a local convenience store and report the incident the suspect was last seen in the area of fourth avenue north and north washington street walking westbound officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to contact grant ford’s police that’s at 701-787-8000 i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
