Roseau County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Salol man is facing two felony threats of violence charges in Roseau County District Court.
Isaac David Specht, 26, is charged in court file number 68-CR-26-231.
The complaint was filed in Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District.
The alleged incident happened on April 21, 2026.
The charges cite Minnesota Statute 609.713.
That statute covers threats to commit a crime of violence.
Each count carries up to five years in prison.
Each count also carries a possible $10,000 fine.
Facebook Message Reported
According to the complaint, Roseau County Dispatch received a call from a man.
The caller reported receiving a threat from Specht.
The complaint says the threat was sent through Facebook.
The message allegedly threatened to come to the man’s home.
It also allegedly threatened to kill him.
The man who received the message lives in Roseau County.
The complaint says the man is in a relationship with Specht’s mother.

Audio Call Also Alleged
Specht’s mother also reported receiving an audio call, according to the complaint.
During that call, Specht allegedly told her she was going to die.
The complaint says the call then ended.
The call was timestamped at 9:47 a.m.
Authorities later went to a rural Roseau location.
They were told Specht had been staying with an uncle.
The uncle told authorities Specht was out jogging.
Specht was later found near Malung Town Hall.
The complaint says Specht declined to speak with authorities.
He was then arrested for the alleged threats.
Prior Convictions Listed
The complaint lists prior convictions that prosecutors call relevant.
Those include a December 2025 domestic assault conviction.
It also lists a July 2025 fifth-degree assault conviction.
The complaint also cites a prior controlled substance conviction.
Roseau County District Court has jurisdiction over criminal cases filed in Roseau County.
