Saint Paul, Minnesota: SWAT Called to Domestic Standoff — Suspect Vanishes Before Raid

Saint Paul, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — A major police response—including a SWAT deployment—unfolded Sunday afternoon in Saint Paul after a woman reported that her ex-partner was inside her apartment, making threats and damaging property.

The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on March 16 in the 1900 block of Wilson Avenue. Officers from the Saint Paul Police Department responded and spoke with the woman outside the residence. She told police that her former partner was inside the apartment, possibly armed with a firearm, and that he had an active felony warrant.

Despite multiple commands, there was no response from inside the apartment. Due to the potential presence of a firearm and the suspect’s known criminal background, SWAT was called to the scene.

Officers obtained a search warrant and later executed a full tactical entry, but no suspect was found inside the apartment. The residence was cleared, and no arrest was made.

Police confirmed that the suspect remains at large, and the investigation is ongoing.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Saint Paul Police at 651-291-1111.
