Roseau County Man Booked on DWI Charges

ROSEAU COUNTY (trfnews.i234.me) — A 61-year-old man was recently booked into the Roseau County Jail on three alcohol-related driving charges.

Jail records identify the man as Brian A. Olson. He was booked on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

The booking report lists the arresting agency as the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.

Three DWI Charges Listed

Olson faces two gross misdemeanor charges and one misdemeanor charge, according to the jail record.

The first charge alleges operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol. That count is listed as a gross misdemeanor.

The second charge alleges third-degree driving while impaired. The record lists one aggravating factor in that case.

The third charge alleges Olson had an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or higher within two hours of driving.

That charge is listed as a misdemeanor in the booking report.

No release date was included in the information provided by the jail.

The booking report also showed $0.00 in total bail for each listed charge. That figure may not reflect later court action.

Case details, hearing dates, and future court rulings may be available through Minnesota Court Records Online.

Information about Minnesota impaired-driving laws is available from the Minnesota Legislature’s Revisor of Statutes.

A jail booking does not prove guilt. Olson is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.

The charges may be changed, reduced, or dismissed as the case moves through the court system.
