MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – In a dramatic turn of events, a robbery suspect has been apprehended following a pursuit in Moorhead on Wednesday night.

  1. Dispatched to Robbery: Moorhead police were dispatched to a reported robbery at a business located on the 3200 block of Highway 10.
  2. Vehicle Pursuit: Responding swiftly, officers located the suspect’s vehicle on the 1200 block of 20th Street South. Despite attempts to stop the vehicle, the suspect fled southbound.
  3. PIT Technique Used: Law enforcement employed a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT) to immobilize the suspect’s vehicle on the 2400 block of 20th Street South.
  4. Suspect in Custody: Abraham Cozzi, a 52-year-old male with no permanent address, was taken into custody without further incident.
  5. Investigation Findings: Upon further investigation, authorities determined that the incident was a theft rather than a robbery.
  6. Charges: Cozzi faces charges of felony fleeing in a motor vehicle and misdemeanor theft and is currently held at the Clay County jail.
