GRAND FORKS-EAST GRAND FORKS (trfnews.i234.me) The Red River at Greater Grand Forks has risen almost 6 feet over the past 24 hours this Wednesday morning. River Road in East Grand Forks is now closed.
the Red River at greater Grand Forks is on a dramatic rise it’s risen almost six feet within the last 24 hours at twenty nine point three feet on this Wednesday morning that’s already causing some problems River Road in East Grand Forks has been closed and the forecast calls for the river to hit the 40 feet by Friday that will also likely close the point bridge just south of here and it’s expected to hit 45 feet by Sunday or Monday that could put the surly bridge here in jeopardy of closing we’ll hear much more about all these developments later today check back for more details but again River Road and East Grand Forks is closed on this Wednesday morning and it appears the point bridge is getting close to having to be closed also I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
