Rice Man Killed in Highway 23 Crash

Rice (trfnews.i234.me) — A 30-year-old Rice man died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Benton County.

The crash happened around 8:14 p.m. September 10 on westbound Highway 23.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the crash occurred near mile marker 214.

The man’s name was not included in the initial public crash report.

Jeep Leaves Highway 23

According to the State Patrol, the man was driving a 2007 Jeep Commander west on Highway 23.

The Jeep left the roadway before striking a tree and a power box.

The driver suffered fatal injuries in the crash.

The driver’s seat belt use was listed as unknown.
