Rice (trfnews.i234.me) — A 30-year-old Rice man died in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Benton County.

The crash happened around 8:14 p.m. September 10 on westbound Highway 23.

The Minnesota State Patrol said the crash occurred near mile marker 214.

According to the State Patrol, the man was driving a 2007 Jeep Commander west on Highway 23.

The Jeep left the roadway before striking a tree and a power box.

The driver suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
