everyone Neil Berg you’re driving into downtown Grand Forks on a very cold Wednesday morning temperature right before 8:00 a.m. is that minus 34 degrees a high today expected of only minus 19 is gonna be a warm traffic very slow this morning lots of things closed Grand Forks East Grand Forks City offices are closed of schools on either side of the river here along with the Grand Forks County Courthouse and office building University of North Dakota has closed along with the University of Minnesota Crookston Crookston schools and basically east west north and south around Grand Forks schools are closed today but driving conditions are much better today highway to Easton West and I 29 north and south no one today visibility was a big problem light winds today around 8 miles per hour so driving us 1 once again a lot better today however no reprieve from the cold until basically Friday it’s supposed to be down to 30 to minus 32 again tonight so another cold day there so if you’re headed somewhere they’ll make sure your vehicle you have all the things you need to stay warm if you have car troubles or hit the ditch but but it’s in pretty good driving conditions out on the highway this morning you it’s winter but once again it will find icy spots now and then but you got to expect that and the real break from the cold expected to come Saturday according to national weather service could hit 20 22 degrees but then another bit of a cold front is going to move through right away so wherever you go and take her slow today a lot of people got the day off on her staying home so enjoy your Wednesday however he worked out on all this covering the northern valley I’m Neil Berg reporting for I news TV
