FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A Fargo man is facing criminal charges after allegedly assaulting another man with a rock. According to court records, Andre Tolefree of Fargo is accused of the assault, which occurred on May 10th. Fargo police were dispatched to the Downtown Center, a homeless shelter, where the male victim reported that Tolefree had hit him in the head with a rock while they were sitting on the sidewalk. Tolefree gave officers a false name and began punching them until he was tased and arrested. He is now charged with felonies for aggravated assault and preventing arrest, as well as a misdemeanor for providing false information to law enforcement.
