Early life and school
Timothy J. Theroux was born on Oct. 12, 1960, in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota.
His family said he was one of 14 siblings.
They said the children were raised on the family farm in Terrebonne.
He attended grade school with his brothers and sisters.
After the family moved, he went to Lafayette High School in Red Lake Falls.

Work and time with family
Theroux worked at the Theroux Family Café, according to his family.
Relatives said he enjoyed visiting during family gatherings.
They said he also liked catching up with friends.
Family members described him as warm and easy to talk with.
Survivors
Theroux is survived by his brother Armond Jr. (Shelley) Theroux of Tijeras, New Mexico.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Armond and Mae Theroux.
He was also preceded by siblings John, Russell, Robert “Bob,” Raymond, Larry, Wayne, Shirley Cameron, Marlene, Kathy Tollefson, Rosie, Danny, and Carol Proulx.
Service planned
The family said a service will be held later in the spring of 2026.
Details are expected to be shared when plans are set.
