Red Lake Falls Report: DWI, Warrants, ATV Complaints
Red Lake County (trfnews.i234.me) — Authorities reported several calls, arrests, and investigations across Red Lake County from May 15 through May 21.
On May 15, Grafton Police arrested Isaiha Rodriguez, 23, of Grafton, North Dakota.
Red Lake County had an active misdemeanor warrant for Rodriguez. Authorities said he posted $200 cash bail and was released.
Rodriguez is scheduled to appear in Red Lake County court on June 3.
Warrants, Extortion Report, And ATV Complaint
On May 16, a Red Lake County resident reported an online extortion case. That report remains under investigation.
Later that day, deputies arrested Christopher Chad Walseth, 49, of Plummer.
Authorities said Pennington County had active misdemeanor warrants for Walseth. He was taken to the Pennington County jail.
Deputies also responded to a report of ATVs damaging field crossings along County Road 1 east of Plummer.
Juvenile ATV operators were located and counseled. They were told not to ride at that location.
DWI Arrest Near Plummer
Early on May 17, a deputy checked a vehicle parked on County Road 1 east of Plummer.
Authorities said Timothy Vernon Lee, 63, of Brooks, was asleep in the driver’s seat.
The engine was running, and the transmission was in neutral.
Authorities said Lee was intoxicated. He was arrested and taken to jail in Crookston.
Lee was booked for gross misdemeanor DWI.
He appeared in court in Crookston on May 18. He posted $500 cash bail and was released with conditions.
His next court appearance is scheduled for June 3 in Red Lake Falls.

Juvenile Calls And Other Reports
On May 17, deputies responded to a report of a person carrying a possible shotgun in Red Lake Falls.
They found a juvenile with a BB gun. The juvenile was taken home and counseled.
That evening, a deputy responded to a Red Lake Falls home for a mental health crisis.
An adult male was taken to Sanford ER in Thief River Falls for evaluation.
On May 18, an Equality Township resident reported a missing blonde Great Dane.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office.
That evening, a Red Lake Falls resident reported an assault. That case remains under investigation.
On May 19, deputies responded after a juvenile left a Red Lake Falls home without permission.
Several 911 callers reported a young girl walking in traffic on Main Avenue.
The juvenile was found and returned home. She was later taken to juvenile detention in Crookston.
Deputies also responded to a parent and juvenile dispute in Lambert Township. The incident was mediated.
On May 20, a vehicle was reported stolen near the Red Lake Falls softball field.
The vehicle was found nearby, behind trees. Authorities said it appeared to be a prank.
On May 21, Michael Allen Buehner, 30, of Grafton, was cited for speeding on Highway 59 near Plummer.
No convictions were reported in the listed incidents.
