Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On May 14 at around 9:52 a.m., police received a report of a protection order violation. Ryan David Sabo, 41, from Red Lake Falls, has been cited for domestic abuse – violation of a protection order. The citation was filed in court on June 26.
Sabo allegedly violated the protection order involving a Thief River Falls woman on May 11 by texting her, including messages indicating he would soon see her. He also texted her on the Family Wizard app, which is meant for communication regarding their daughter. However, the messages did not pertain to their child.
Additionally, on April 25, Sabo allegedly visited the woman’s apartment at Country Acres Apartments, 1918 Greenwood St. E., where she allowed him inside. They argued, and Sabo allegedly put his arm around her neck and threatened to call immigration on her. He also pushed her cheek during the incident, which was witnessed by their daughter.
