Red Lake County (trfnews.i234.me) — Red Lake County handled a series of calls from March 25 through April 2. The incidents included mental health transports, a disorderly conduct arrest, traffic complaints, property damage, and minor crashes.
Mental Health And Arrest Reports
On March 25, deputies helped a Red Lake Falls resident in a mental health crisis. The person was taken to Sanford Health in Thief River Falls for care. Later that night, deputies transported another person from Crookston to a mental health unit in Thief River Falls under a civil commitment order.
On March 26, deputies responded to a disturbance at Paradise Falls Motel. Authorities said Rose Scarlett Johnson, 40, of Red Lake Falls, was arrested for misdemeanor disorderly conduct. She was booked into jail in Crookston and released the next day.
Other Calls Across The County
Deputies also handled loose dog complaints in Red Lake Falls and Oklee. On March 28, Abrham Hererra, 18, of St. Hilaire, was cited for speeding on Highway 32 south of Red Lake Falls. That same day, damage to construction equipment at the softball field was reported and remains under investigation.
Other calls involved a damaged light pole, a misplaced medication report, a fraud complaint, and several minor vehicle crashes in Brooks and Red Lake Falls. No injuries were reported in the crashes. Insurance information was exchanged, and reports were completed where needed.
