On the afternoon of 11/22/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report that some mailboxes were damaged near Main Ave. in Red Lake Falls. That report remains under investigation.
On the afternoon of 11/24/24, Red Lake County deputies responded to a report of a possible domestic disturbance at a Red Lake Falls apartment. The deputies spoke with the parties involved and determined no crimes have been committed.
On the afternoon of 11/25/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible No Contact Order violation in Plummer. A Red Lake County deputy spoke with the reporting party and investigated the matter. It was revealed that the order had not been violated.
On the evening of 11/25/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report that someone may have violated a No Contact Order in the city of Red Lake Falls. A Red Lake County deputy investigated that report and found no evidence to support the claim.
On the evening of 11/26/24, Michael Joseph Engels (53) of Oklee was arrested for violating the terms of his supervised probation. He was taken to jail in Crookston.
On the evening of 11/26/24, a Red Lake Falls resident reported being harassed by an ex. A Red Lake County deputy spoke with the parties involved, determined no crimes had been committed and they were counseled and advised.
On the morning of 11/27/24, the Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office received a report about possible child maltreatment in Red Lake Falls. That report is still under investigation.
