Red Lake County (trfnews.i234.me) — The Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office released a weekly activity report dated Feb. 27, 2026.
The report covers calls and cases from Feb. 19 through Feb. 26.
Order complaint closed
On Feb. 19, a caller reported a possible restraining order violation.
A deputy checked the report and found no violation.
The case was closed with no further action.
Traffic and vehicle calls
On Feb. 20, Lauren Elizabeth Perry, 32, of Oklee, was cited.
The citation was for misdemeanor driving after suspension.
The stop happened on 3rd Avenue in Oklee.
On Feb. 21, deputies responded to a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 32.
The vehicle was north of Red Lake Falls.
A Minnesota State Trooper also responded.
No injuries were reported.
No damage was reported.
A tow truck removed the vehicle.
On Feb. 21, Austen Grant Schneider, 33, of Hendrum, was cited in Red Lake Falls.
The citation was for expired motor vehicle registration.
The stop happened on Main Avenue.
On Feb. 24, deputies assisted a driver on Highway 32 south of Red Lake Falls.
The vehicle was stalled after running out of gas.
The driver got help and continued on.
On Feb. 26, Jerrold Darwin Asp, 56, of Red Lake Falls was cited.
The citation was for no proof of current insurance.
The stop happened on Champagne Avenue in Red Lake Falls.
School safety case under review
On Feb. 23, Lafayette High School administrators reported concerning social media messages.
The messages were linked to a current student, the report said.
Deputies worked with school staff on safety steps.
The investigation is ongoing.
Infant injury investigation
On Feb. 25, the sheriff’s office received a report involving an infant.
The infant, a county resident, was treated at Essentia’s ER in Fosston.
The report said the injuries appeared suspicious.
Law enforcement met with hospital staff and the child’s parents.
The child was placed on an emergency protection hold.
The child was transferred to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for more care.
Fosston Police also assisted at the hospital.
The child remains in county custody.
The case remains under investigation.
Other cases
On Feb. 25, Cory Allen Koralewski, 46, of Oklee, was cited.
The citation was for misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
The report ties the incident to Feb. 12 at TJ’s Tavern in Oklee.
On Feb. 26, the sheriff’s office received a report of possible child sexual assault.
The report said it occurred in Red Lake County.
That investigation remains active.
