Red Lake Co. Weekly Sheriff’s Report Aug. 22–27

Red Lake County ( trfnews.i234.me ) – The Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office has released its weekly activity report, covering incidents and citations from August 22 through August 27, 2025.

Traffic Citations:
– On August 22, Sawrena Breann Wilson, 21, of Red Lake Falls, was cited for speeding on County Road 12 north of Terrebonne.
– That same day, Colin Hunter Crotteau, 19, of Bemidji, was cited for speeding on County Road 7 east of Highway 59.
– On August 27, Daunte George Douglas White, 19, of Red Lake, was cited for no proof of current vehicle insurance on Highway 59 south of Brooks.

Patrols and Public Safety:
– On August 23, deputies were requested to patrol Sportsman’s Park in Red Lake Falls due to reports of rowdy campers. The deputy’s presence resolved the issue for the evening.
– On August 24, deputies investigated a property damage report at a home in Gervais Township. That case remains under investigation.
– That same afternoon, a deputy picked up a stray black lab near the High School in Red Lake Falls and transported the dog to the Pound in Thief River Falls.
– On August 25, an individual turned in a key fob found on Main Avenue in Red Lake Falls. Residents missing a key fob are encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office.

Disturbance Calls:
– On the evening of August 25, deputies responded to the Spot Bar in Red Lake Falls for assistance in removing an individual. The person returned later, but the situation was mediated, and the bar owner allowed the individual to stay.
– On the morning of August 26, a deputy responded to a welfare call in Oklee after a report of a small child wearing only underwear riding a bicycle. The deputy located the child at the Cenex store and returned them home safely.
