Grand Forks County, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – A shocking incident has led to a warrant being issued for 18-year-old Kenneth Deziel Jr., after a 16-year-old girl was shot in the knee while lying in her bed watching TikTok on June 16.

According to court documents, police were dispatched around 2:00 a.m. and learned the girl was already en route to the hospital, driven by Deziel himself.

Officers conducted a Terry Frisk on Deziel at the hospital, where he admitted to having marijuana. Police found 1.41 ounces in his pockets.

Witnesses say Deziel dropped a loaded pistol on the girl’s bed, which then fired, hitting her in the knee. Another witness saw him wrapping the wound with a pillowcase.

Deziel later admitted during a phone interview that he threw the gun onto the bed and it discharged.

He now faces charges of reckless endangerment with a dangerous weapon and marijuana possession. A warrant is currently active for his arrest.
