Ramsey County (trfnews.i234.me) — Authorities in Ramsey County have issued a fugitive alert after Robert Alonzo Richardson was declared a wanted fugitive as of April 30, 2025. Full details are available at TRF News.

Richardson, born September 9, 1983, was convicted of first-degree assault for an incident on January 31, 2017, at the Capitol/Rice Street light-rail platform. Surveillance footage captured Richardson slashing another man’s face with a razor blade during a confrontation. Despite claiming self-defense, the jury found Richardson guilty, and he was sentenced to 122 months in prison. The Minnesota Court of Appeals upheld the conviction.

He was released from custody on November 14, 2024, but has since violated the terms of his supervised release under the supervision of Agent Cindy Kolodziejski.

Given the violent nature of his offense, authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant. Anyone with information regarding Richardson’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact law enforcement immediately.

I’m Chris Harper reporting for TRF News.
