Puppy Found Abandoned and Severely Injured in Moorhead

MOORHEAD, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Moorhead Police are looking for information about who abandoned a fatally injured puppy at a fire station.
Morehead police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an incident where a fatally injured puppy was left abandoned at the South Morehead fire station Sunday morning Morehead police were called here uh for an abandoned dog in a kennel that was left in the back of the building overnight the animal was very lethargic and had obvious trauma to its head and appeared in significant distress the puppy was transported to the city of Morehead contract Ed pound where the veterinary staff was summoned based on the extent of injuries and for the Humane consideration and well-being of the animal veterinary staff determined the injuries and condition of the animal were Beyond treatment and the puppy was euthanized staff described the puppy as a possible lab cross male approximately 4 months old brown hair underweight at 18 lbs anyone with information regarding this puppy is asked to call the Red River Regional dispatch at 71451 7660 and speak with an on duty Morehead police supervisor I’m Neil Berg reporting for I trfnews.i234.me
