Grand Forks, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Jordan Lynn Otterness of Grand Forks has been charged with felony theft of property following a package theft incident captured on video.
According to court documents, on July 9th, 2025, Otterness was seen on surveillance footage stealing a delivery package left outside a Grand Forks apartment. The package reportedly contained a financial card intended for the resident.
When confronted by authorities, Otterness claimed he was merely holding it for the victim until he could return it to her. Investigators weren’t buying the excuse.
He was arrested and is now officially charged with felony theft, a serious offense that could carry significant penalties if convicted.
