Polk County (trfnews.i234.me)Rodrigo Ismael Flores, 30, of Crookston, Minnesota, is scheduled to change his plea on June 3, 2025, in a case involving second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child under the age of 13. The charge stems from allegations that Flores inappropriately touched a 5-year-old girl around 2017 at a residence in Crookston. The victim reported the incident to her mother in December 2024, leading to an investigation by law enforcement.

According to court documents, during an interview with authorities, Flores initially denied the allegations but later admitted to the inappropriate contact, expressing remorse and stating he felt disgusted by his actions. He also reportedly made statements over the phone acknowledging the incident and expressing self-hatred for what had occurred.

If convicted, Flores faces up to 25 years in prison, with Minnesota state sentencing guidelines recommending a range between 90 and 360 months, depending on his criminal history.
