Plymouth (trfnews.i234.me) — Franck Melaine Miessan, 39, of Plymouth, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder after allegedly stabbing his wife in the chest on March 10, 2025.
The victim was found bleeding in the parking lot of the New Hope Police Department and was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery. Initially claiming it was an accident, she later revealed that Miessan attacked her following an argument about her speaking with another man at their child’s basketball game.
Authorities say Miessan struck her with a barstool, punched and kicked her, and stabbed her with a kitchen knife. He also reportedly told their children not to talk about the incident and later made threatening comments. Police found bloodstains throughout the home and noted Miessan’s lack of concern.
Miessan is currently being held on a $750,000 bond and faces multiple charges including attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Thursday.
