Plant explosion injures one person in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) One person was injured in an explosion at a Grand Forks manufacturing plant Tuesday afternoon.
we have an update regarding our report Tuesday afternoon of an explosion at the LM wind power plant on the southwest corner of Grand Forks one person was injured the plant manufactures those wind turbine blades for uh wind generators this from the fire department now at 3 18 p.m Tuesday fire department responded to 1580 South 48th Street for a report of an explosion when fire Crews arrived on scene they found that the building was evacuated and the fire protection system was operated when they entered the building they found no Act of fire after the building was deemed safe the business could resume normal operations the cause of the fire is still under investigation all true paramedics transported one employee with unknown injuries a fire department assisted by Grand Forks Police and all true ambulance that was from the Grand Forks fire department radio traffic at the time indicated some type of tank had exploded and a subject was covered with fiberglass so no further details on that yet but one person injured here yesterday I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
