CLEARBROOK, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – Early Monday morning, a single-occupant plane crashed in Clearbrook, leaving the pilot hospitalized and sparking an investigation into the cause of the incident.
The Incident
At 1:40 a.m. on Monday, April 29, law enforcement responded to reports of a single-engine plane crash in Clearbrook. According to Clearbrook-Gonvick Police Chief Ryan Solee, first responders discovered the pilot outside the aircraft. The pilot was subsequently airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo for treatment.
Investigation Underway
While the condition of the pilot remains unknown, preliminary findings suggest that mechanical failure, coupled with adverse weather conditions, may have contributed to the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will lead the investigation to determine the exact cause of the incident.

Multiple agencies responded to the scene, including the Clearbrook Fire Department, Bagley Police Department, and the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office.
