Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Thief River Falls woman is facing multiple criminal charges, including two felonies, after a violent, alcohol-fueled confrontation with police officers in front of her child on the night of June 17, 2025.

According to court documents, Amanda Lea Drury, 32, was reported to authorities for kicking a vehicle and yelling aggressively near Westview Trailer Court while accompanied by her young child. When officers arrived, Drury allegedly ignored commands, became verbally abusive, and punched Officer Sean O’Connor in the face. During the arrest, she also kicked Officer Wyatt Olson and continued shouting vulgarities.

Drury has been charged with the following:

  • Count I & II: Felony 5th-Degree Assault (against two officers, repeat domestic violence-related offense)

  • Count III: Obstructing Legal Process – Misdemeanor

  • Count IV: Disorderly Conduct – Misdemeanor

Drury’s criminal record includes multiple prior convictions for controlled substance possession, violating harassment restraining orders, and interfering with law enforcement.

She is currently being held under a detention order while the case proceeds.
