Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) – Authorities in Pennington County have reported the arrest of 5’5″, 145-pound Cierra Olds, with blonde hair and green eyes. Olds was booked into the Pennington County Jail on April 30, 2025, and remains in custody without bail.
Olds is facing a Gross Misdemeanor charge under Minnesota Statute 609.2242.2 for Domestic Assault – Subsequent Violation. According to officials, this charge stems from a repeated offense, indicating that Olds has a prior domestic assault conviction on record.
The severity of this charge reflects the state’s commitment to escalating penalties for repeat domestic violence offenders. A gross misdemeanor conviction could carry a sentence of up to one year in jail and/or a fine of up to $3,000.
Court proceedings will move forward in Pennington County District Court. A court date has yet to be officially scheduled.
This case adds to the growing number of domestic violence incidents being processed through rural Minnesota’s legal system.
