Patrol Recaps Closure Of North & Southbound I-29 By Grand Forks Monday

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) The North Dakota Highway Patrol has a recap of multiple crashes that closed the north and southbound lanes of Interstate-29 between Grand Forks and Thompson on this Monday.
here’s a recap of the South and Northbound Lanes of I-29 between Grand Forks and Thompson being closed at different times today this from the North Dakota Highway Patrol 9 48 a.m due to limited visibility related to blowing snow multiple crashes occurred on the northbound Interstate 29 South the Grand Forks due to commercial Motor Vehicles blocking the interstate Northbound I-29 was closed from the Thompson exit to 32nd Avenue South in Grand Forks while Crews worked to remove the vehicles the crashes involved three commercial motor vehicles and five passenger cars one of which rolled over a short time later multiple crashes occurred in the southbound side of the interstate near mile marker 130 due to a commercial motor vehicle blocking the interstate Southbound Interstate 29 was closed from 32nd Avenue South to the Thompson exit while Crews worked to remove the vehicles the crashes in involved eight commercial Motor Vehicles four passenger cars and a Thompson fire and rescue vehicle at 11 54 a.m northbound Interstate 29 was reopened and now due to the deteriorating weather conditions this evening to include blowing snow reducing visibility a no travel advisory is currently in place for I-29 from the Canadian border to south of Fargo I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
