Pennington County (trfnews.i234.me) – On May 23, law enforcement responded to a report of a possibly intoxicated male passed out in an idling vehicle at a residence on Woodland Court in Thief River Falls.
Police found Blaize David Zimmerman, 50, unconscious behind the wheel. When approached, Zimmerman allegedly tried to hide an open bottle of vodka in his coat. The complaint states he showed signs of impairment and admitted to drinking vodka three hours earlier.
Zimmerman failed field sobriety tests and refused a preliminary breath test. After being transported to jail, a breathalyzer test revealed a 0.19 BAC—more than twice the legal limit. He has been charged with third-degree DWI.
