What investigators allege

According to the criminal complaint, the woman said Ruth was in her apartment overnight. She said he woke her around 3 a.m. and started an argument.

She told him she would call law enforcement. She said he left the apartment after that.

The complaint says Ruth then climbed onto the roof outside the unit. It says he entered the bedroom through a window.

The woman told deputies she felt scared and unsure what to do. The complaint says she ordered him to leave.

She also told deputies he warned her that her life would crumble. She said he also threatened to shoot her one day.
