Becker County (trfnews.i234.me) — A Park Rapids man faces a felony charge after a violent home invasion.
Charge filed
Roy Lee Branson Doss, 21, of Park Rapids, is charged with felony first-degree burglary involving assault. Court records link the case to an attack reported on November 22, 2025.
What investigators allege
A criminal complaint was filed in Becker County District Court. It says three masked men forced their way into a home off State Highway 87.
A woman at the home told deputies the men beat her son. Investigators say the victim was struck with brass knuckles.
The victim told investigators the men entered his bedroom and attacked him. He said he recognized two attackers.
He identified them as Jayden Lee Roberts Burton and Jason Lee Donarski. He described the third intruder as taller and skinny.
Items found at the scene
Investigators say one intruder dropped sunglasses during the struggle. Deputies also reported finding a dark blue “Loon Reloaded” vape pen.
Residents said the vape did not belong to anyone in the home. Investigators also noted a damaged mailbox near the residence.
They believed a fleeing vehicle hit it while leaving. Deputies later went to a location where the suspects were believed to be staying.

Vehicle and statements
Investigators reported seeing a vehicle with side damage at that location. They said the damage matched a recent mailbox strike.
The complaint says the vehicle belonged to Doss. Investigators also said Doss matched the “taller and skinny” description.
When questioned, Doss reportedly produced a wallet and keys. He told investigators he did not have his vape.
The complaint says he first described his vape as “looner loaded” and blue. Investigators say he later gave mixed details about the shade.
What happens next
Doss has not been convicted in this case. The charge is an allegation. A judge will decide next steps in Becker County District Court.
