WEST FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – The investigation into the fatal shooting of Austin Strom, a 25-year-old parishioner of Prairie Heights Community Church in West Fargo, has entered its third week with no new updates.
Police reports indicate that Strom attempted to break into the church and assaulted 66-year-old Kent Hodges before being shot by Don Barron Jr., 53, in the church parking lot on August 17.
Despite the ongoing investigation, the Cass County States Attorney’s office has not yet received the police report, and no charges have been filed.
The circumstances surrounding the altercation, including the relationship between the men and the justification for the use of deadly force, remain under scrutiny.
