Ogema Man Charged After Highway 21 Stop
Becker County (trfnews.i234.me) — Mark Todd Quinn Sr. of Ogema is facing a gross misdemeanor charge in Becker County District Court.
The case stems from a traffic stop on February 1, 2026, near Ogema.
According to a criminal complaint, Quinn was charged with driving after cancellation. The complaint says his driving status was canceled as inimical to public safety.
The charge was filed under Minnesota Statute 171.24. The case is listed as Becker County Court File No. 03-CR-26-295.
Traffic Stop Near Ogema
The complaint says the stop happened at about 12:21 p.m. on County Highway 21.
A Becker County deputy reported seeing a vehicle traveling northbound near Ogema. The deputy identified the driver as Mark Todd Quinn Sr.
Authorities said they were aware Quinn’s driving status had been canceled. The deputy then turned around and stopped the vehicle.
During the stop, Quinn allegedly said he was driving home. He told authorities he had helped someone shovel out a vehicle.
The complaint says Quinn also stated his license was still canceled.
Charge Filed In Becker County
Authorities later confirmed Quinn’s driving status, according to the complaint.
Quinn was arrested and taken to the Becker County Jail. The complaint says he was booked and later released.
The charge is listed as a gross misdemeanor. The maximum penalty is 364 days in jail, a $3,000 fine, or both.
A criminal complaint is not a conviction. Quinn is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
