Jamie is a Thief River Falls native, having been born and raised there. After graduation from Lincoln High School, Jamie’s carefree spirit led her to experience life outside of TRF where she met and made many caring, special and lifelong friends before settling in Fargo. While living in Fargo, Jamie was employed by MVM Contracting, a wonderful company with great employees that treated her like family.
During her journey, Jamie was blessed with four beautiful children, Damon, Nate, Taylor and Tanner Furuseth. She was the ultimate caring and loving mother, attending hockey practice and games, helping with homework, and celebrating their achievements in school and on the ice. There was nothing she would not do for them. They were her life, her pride and joy. Each one has grown into a strong and loving person. They are testaments to her legacy.
Cherishing her memory are her children, Damon (Gracie Rice), Nate, Taylor and Tanner Furuseth; her mother, Bonnie (Adam) Aehlert; her father, Jim (Elizabeth) Elleson; her sisters, Becky (Jeff) Lannoye, Vanessa (Ben) Mertes, Kira Aehlert, and Desire´(Alex) Reinert; her niece Payten Aehlert; her nephews, Mason and Maverick Reinert; her grandmothers, Vivian Markstrom, Donna (Elleson) Manning, and Joann (Elleson) Youngquist, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, and especially her true significant other and soul mate, Roger Brown. To Roger, please know this: you were her rock, and we cannot express enough our utmost gratitude and appreciation for your unconditional love and support of our Jamie before and throughout her ordeal.
Jamie was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William “Bud” Elleson, Marvin “Monte” Markstrom, and Marvin Manning; and brother, James Elleson Jr.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Becky Lannoye in benefit of Jamie’s children. Please direct questions to Becky at [email protected].
