Danielle Vondal, of Newfolden, formerly of Grand Forks, ND, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at her home in Newfolden, MN, at the age of 38.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Obit in Thief River Falls, MN.
Danielle Marie Vondal was born on May 12, 1985 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Bonnie Vondal and Clyde Brumwell. She grew up in Grand Forks, ND, and attended school at Winship Elementary School, Schroeder Middle School, and Red River High School.
Danielle worked at the Grand Forks Herald for many years and later at the TRF Times and Erl’s Market.
She was a kind soul that would help anyone she could. Danielle loved spending time with her friends and family. She was very proud of her children and was a devoted mother to Chase, Ethan, Brayden, Dylan, and Addison. Spending time outdoors – sleeping under the stars and activities with her children were some of her favorite times.
She enjoyed life to the fullest and will be greatly missed. Danielle’s family asks that you keep her memory alive with the memories you shared.
Danielle is survived by her life partner, Shane Timm of Newfolden, MN; children, Chase Dalzell-Vondal of Grand Forks, ND, Ethan Vondal of Grand Forks, ND, Brayden Bentley, Dylan Vondal, and Addison Timm of Newfolden, MN, and Shane’s children, Sara, Kjersten, and Jaiden; mother, Bonnie Vondal of Thief River Falls, MN, step-father Joseph Rodriguez-Chapman of Grand Forks, ND; siblings, Joseph Vondal of Fargo, ND, Johnathan Vondal of Fargo, ND, Jessica Vondal of Grand Forks ND, Jasmine Vondal of Minneapolis, MN, Dawn Vondal of Grand Forks, ND, Brianna Vondal of Milbank, SD, Desirae Vondal of Milbank, SD, Aaron Vondal of Thief River Falls, MN, Alica Vondal of Thief River Falls, MN, Angel Vondal of Thief River Falls, MN; uncle, Les Brumwell of Grafton, ND; aunt, Faye Aldrich and uncle Jodi Aldrich of Arizona; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends all of who she cared deeply for.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Brumwell; grandfather, Leonard Vondal Sr.; grandmothers, Ione Sacket and Doris Vondal; uncle, Glen Brumwell; and many aunts.
