GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) Police have now confirmed to TRF News a body was recovered from the Red River in Grand Forks Saturday evening.
we have an update regarding the possibility of a body found in the red river at grand forks on this saturday evening sergeant pemberton pemberton of the grand forks police department has confirmed a body was found here in the red river by the pedestrian bridge tangled in some logs by riverside park at this point sergeant pemberton says they can’t release any further information whether the person was male or female the body was taken to a coroner’s office more information will be released pending identification and also you probably remember a few weeks ago a person went missing in downtown grand forks a witness reported that they saw a person swimming and then went under again at this point no information whether and then not that could be connected to this incident uh but again a body recovered here at by the pedestrian bridge at riverside park uh found just after six tonight after a witness reported it to police who would the witness was on the greenway i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
