New Video Captures Grand Forks Stabbing and Pursuit of Suspect



GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We now have more information regarding a stabbing at the Grand Forks Mission on this Friday morning, followed by a pursuit of the suspect, Ayom Moses. TRF News viewers captured some of the pursuit into Walsh County on video.

  1. Charge him to the fullest extent of ND laws with the longest possible sentencing guidelines.

    In North Dakota, the sentencing court may impose imprisonment for attempted murder if aggravating factors are present. Aggravating factors include:

    The defendant has a prior felony or class A misdemeanor conviction

    The victim was vulnerable or a child

    The defendant abused a position of trust or responsibility over the victim

    The defendant used force, threats, or coercion to commit the offense

    If that isn't applicable, then charge him with the next highest sentencing: Class B felony for attempted murder: 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

    I hope the victim survives. Horrific violent crime should have harsher sentencing guidelines.
