NEW HAVEN TWP, Olmsted County — Teen Driver Crashes Into Guardrail on Hwy 52 — Alcohol Involved!

NEW HAVEN TOWNSHIP, Olmsted County (trfnews.i234.me) — A 19-year-old driver from Northfield, MN, was hospitalized following a late-night crash on March 27, 2025, at 11:03 p.m., when his 2012 Toyota Camry collided with a guardrail on southbound MNTH 52 near Milepost 67.

The driver, Urban Zimmerman Beckman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester. Authorities confirmed that alcohol was involved in the incident. Although the airbags did not deploy, Beckman was wearing a seat belt, likely reducing injury severity.

Road conditions were dry, and emergency response came from the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance. The investigation is believed to be complete.
