National Weather Service in Grand Forks issues Winter Storm Watch

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) The National Weather Service in Grand Forks is forecasting heavy snow for a wide swath of our region beginning Tuesday.
well the calendar says it’s almost spring but their reality is more snow on the way at 5 15 a.m on this Monday morning look at the UND skycam in Grand Forks it’s five degrees out north wind at 12 miles per hour and the Weather Service says 23 degrees for a high today and sunny the bad news is we’re in a winter storm watch in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning heavy snow possible total snow accumulations three to seven inches portions of Central North Central Northwest and West Central Minnesota and Northeast and Southeast North Dakota the heaviest snow is expected along portions of the I-94 and Highway 10 Corridor northeastward to around Bemidji again that’s from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday morning travel could be very difficult with areas of blowing snow and reduced visibility hazardous conditions could impact the morning and evening commute on Tuesday I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
