Stutsman County, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — On Tuesday morning, May 20, 2025, around 9:06 a.m., Jamestown Police responded to a call from the owner of an apartment building in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South. The owner reported finding a man lying at the bottom of a stairwell who appeared to be deceased.
Upon arrival, officers determined that the man had been dead for several hours. He is described as possibly Caucasian or Native American, between 25 and 40 years old, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing between 165 and 185 pounds. He had a scruffy black beard with a full goatee, black hair, and was wearing multi-colored Converse All-Star shoes.
The man did not have any form of identification on him but had several distinguishable tattoos on his left arm, left abdomen, left chest, and left shoulder.
Currently, the death does not appear to be suspicious, but the investigation is ongoing. Significant leads have been developed regarding the individual’s identity, and authorities are working to locate and notify next of kin.
