Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Formal charges have been filed against the man suspected in the deadly Broadway North shooting in downtown Fargo early Sunday morning.
Cass County District Court records show Tyrque Jones faces charges of murder, aggravated assault (three counts), and reckless endangerment in connection with the 1:56 a.m. shooting that killed 19-year-old Azeem Holmes and wounded two others.
Jones remains at large. Authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest and are urging the public not to approach him, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
The charges stem from the first of two separate but related shootings that occurred within 30 minutes. The second shooting, around 2:26 a.m. at the 4700 block of 16th Avenue South, claimed the life of 20-year-old Elijah Hughes of Fargo. Police continue to investigate whether additional suspects are tied to that incident.
Court documents, including the probable cause affidavit, remain sealed until Jones is taken into custody.
