Mower County (trfnews.i234.me)A routine drive turned perilous for a Le Roy woman when an object from a passing vehicle shattered her windshield on Highway 63 near Racine.

At approximately 1:02 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2025, 36-year-old Casandra Faulhaber was traveling southbound in her Kia Sorento when an unidentified object suspected to have come off a passing vehicle penetrated her windshield, striking her.

Faulhaber sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment. Her passenger remained unharmed. Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the incident.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the source of the debris. The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Grand Meadow Ambulance, and the Stewartville Fire Department provided assistance at the scene.
