Motorcycle Crash Update: Rider Faces DUI Charge After Colliding with Car in Grand Forks

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – Tyler Power, 33, is facing a DUI charge after crashing his 2010 Yamaha motorcycle into a car driven by Heather Wippler, 39, in Grand Forks. The collision occurred on South 20th Street when a Toyota attempted a left turn into the Ben Franklin Elementary School parking lot, leading to the crash with Power’s motorcycle. Both vehicles sustained significant damage, but neither driver suffered serious injuries. Power was transported by Altur ambulance as a precaution. The Grand Forks Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation into the accident. Power was also cited for no liability insurance and being an unqualified operator.
