Mother from Fosston Alleges School Bullying Involved Threat with Gun

FOSSTON, MN (trfnews.i234.me) A Fosston, Minnesota mom claims bullying to her daughter at school included a gun threat.
at Boston Minnesota mom claims her daughter has been the victim of bullying that included a gun threat and that little has been done as far as discipline to the male student Sheena winter says her daughter was already suffering emotional problems and now she’s hospitalized I talked with Sheena winter and her mother Val Bauer the victim’s grandmother here’s that conversation well the first thing I’m worried about blow back to your daughter she’s okay with this yeah yeah we’ve discussed it with her when we talked to her on the phone she’s she’s fine that she knew it was a thought okay so tell folks what’s going on what happened um so since the beginning of the school year um I would say like two weeks in maybe she’s been bullied by a specific kid um there’s been ongoing bullying um we’ve been you know the school has been informed um the police department’s been informed this kid has done things like he has called her you know a he’s called her a gaywad and um he the most recent one he used his hand like a gun and said he was gonna shoot her in the head um yeah she didn’t kill herself because of it she um ended up writing a suicide note um and that was found at the school and now now she is in Prairie St John’s because of all this I mean she’s self-harming nothing has been done with the kid besides talking to him all right so what what do you think should happen do you think the kid should be out of school um I think he definitely needs to be you know I mean and bookie she says Beyond bullying right now it’s I mean it’s the point it’s threatening her life and it’s affecting her life she’s she’s out of school now she’s you know it’s affecting everything what has the school told you so both parents have been going to the school and the last time when um the dad went to the school the school counselor walked in even and said oh they’re doing it to your other daughter too and that he had done the whole gun thing to the other daughter so it’s not just one kid at school that’s that’s being harassed and this is the same kid harassing other kids and um you know the one little girl is struggling with her own identity sexual identity and the school has to have policies in place to protect that child based on her gender whatever her choices are and they’re not doing it and when it affects the education of a child we’re getting into legal stuff that’s going on in the school when Sheena went back there and tried to find out what was going on she was told he was talked to but he was still walking the Halls well one child sits in the hospital all right okay I don’t know anything else I should be talking about I’ll put it out there and you’re gonna get well I mean we expect we expect there to be things but you know when the police department alone refuses to take the statement I mean when I went up to the police department um the first officer I talked to you said you know write up what happened um you know bring it in will write up a report and um so I was gonna do that um but then I ended up having to bring my daughter to the hospital so I couldn’t go in right away so I went in you know the next day to bring all this in and it was a different officer and he is like well you know I’m going to be honest with you the only thing I’m going to be doing is going up and talking to the principal about okay and again can you tell folks what what happened uh regarding the incident threatening with the gun what happened um you know basically I’m and then our foster daughter the second time and he uh put his hand up like this and said I’m gonna shoot you in the head he’s gonna blow a hole in your head and kill you if you don’t kill yourself first yeah and then he proceeded to call call them you know what was what were the names gaywad and again you said yeah I’ll kill you if you don’t kill yourself first yep and you know so it’s like I guess I I get so upset with it because I just look at it as no child has the right to threaten somebody’s life or to make them feel like they’re less than somebody else just because of their beliefs or their values it just I just and I mean it it really affected her and parts of her note she wrote you know I’m sorry that I’m a I’m sorry I’m so annoying um I’m sorry that what else did you say I have the whole note but basically she’s like maybe maybe I should go kill myself I’ll just I’ll just do it for you yeah and then she’s like this is a cry for help now it’s the weekend on Saturday we did reach out to Boston school superintendent Todd selk for comment uh we haven’t heard back yet as of uh this Sunday morning we’ll have that for you if and when we get it I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me

Minnesota, also so far there should be red flags, well the expel threats are scary These woman should receive credit for coming up and speak up , the kids are get targeted , these bullies go to the homes and threat them also that why no one says anything,Small towns teachers and Principals need to understand their opinions their personal feeling need to stay out of classroom and schools our country is going thru a lot awareness is so vip our children has seen a lot heard a lot right is wrong wrong is right itโ€™s up to each parent to stand up help our youths in the schools ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  2. I'm glad you are bringing this to light! Neil's attitude to the event was shameful, but unfortunately typical. I was bullied horrendously as a kid in the next town over from Fosston. Blatant bullying in the open, in front of teachers, other staff and adults, none of which stepped in to help. It went on for years. I didn't say anything to anyone about it. I just took it.
There was one particular boy who was the worst. One day I grabbed him by the neck of his shirt, buttons popping, slammed him up against the lockers, and told him to leave me alone. That seemed to work with this particular kid. Violence isn't the answer so I hope the Fosston School steps up and does the right thing, because my school sure didn't!
    Kudos to mom and Grandma!
