an East Grand Forks mother and son have been busted in connection with meth charges it all started back in August 20th when police tried to arrest 23-year old Kyle de ray on an outstanding warrant according to court documents he took off running across the Sorley bridge in downtown East Grand Forks and threw a backpack into the river the backpack containing meth was recovered by firefighters in a boat on Saturday police got a tip that Kyle was staying with his mother Janet de rape at these apartments across the street from Sacred Heart school at this time Kyle de ray is also wanted by Grand Forks police for an armed robbery according to court documents his mother Janet admitted to police that she has a meth problem the mother and son were both arrested Kyle DeRay has been charged with felonies of controlled substance meth next to a school and possession of a controlled substance with along with a misdemeanor fleeing a police officer on foot 55 year old janitor ray has been charged with felony possession of meth within a prohibited zone and gross misdemeanor of possession of meth I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news da TV
