Moorhead Woman Charged with Murder, Tells Police: "I Would Kill Him Again"

MOORHEAD, Minn. (trfnews.i234.me) – Connie Jo Frank, 47, is being held on a $2 million bail without conditions, or a $100,000 cash bail with conditions, after being charged with second-degree murder for the fatal stabbing of her on-and-off boyfriend, 47-year-old Willard DeGroat Jr. The incident occurred early Sunday morning at 1025 3rd Avenue North in Moorhead, where DeGroat was stabbed in the chest and later died at Sanford Medical Center. Frank, who had been in an on-and-off relationship with DeGroat for five years, returned to the scene and was subsequently arrested. According to court documents, Frank admitted to stabbing DeGroat and stated to police, “I would kill him again.”
