According to court documents, on March 17th, Cheeks became involved in a physical altercation with another man at the Moorhead high-rise. During the confrontation, witnesses reported that Cheeks was armed with a knife and attempted to stab the victim. An officer on the scene confirmed that security video captured the entire incident, backing up the eyewitness accounts.
