hey everyone Neil Berg here early on a Monday morning 4:30 a.m. uh we still got dry roads up here in the northern Valley leaving crookton and route to Grand Forks on Highway 2 that’s some strong winds and we’ll put up the uh weather graph here from the nationville Weather Service in Grand Forest you can see in the northern Valley remain in the winter weather advisory and to the east and south we still have that uh storm warning as you can see in the blue here that winter weather advisory remains in effect until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday uh Weather Service still expecting 1 to 3 in of uh snow and wind gusts as high as 40 mph in The Advisory area plan on slippery road conditions and we’ll take a look at the North Dakota and Minnesota do maps uh normal driving conditions up in the Northeast North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota but as you can see you start going South get down by Hillsboro Hillsboro going south on the North Dakota side to Fargo and South and Points West a broken line indicates scattered icy roads and the uh solid blue lines in uh on the Minnesota side of the river indicate partially covered roads and uh things get worse as you if you’re driving down toward the Minneapolis area and here’s a look at the do cam in Fargo at the uh I29 and 94 Interchange you can see wet looking roads uh Fargo is in the warning area but uh basically around the same forecast for now snow mainly after 700 a.m. uh areas of blowing snow after 8 1 to 3 in possible wind gusts up to 39 mph so we all seem to be here in the valley kind of on the edge of things we’ll have to see as the day goes take a look at road maps if you’ve got some traveling in mind and check that out before you head out today I’m Neil Berg reporting for in.tv
