GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) – In a harrowing incident on Sunday evening in Grand Forks, 19-year-old Andrew Sosa found himself in a “lucky to be alive” scenario when his car struck a light pole, which ended up halfway inside his vehicle. The crash occurred just before 8:00 p.m. on the 900 block of North Washington Street. Sosa, driving a 1996 Honda Civic, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to spin off the road and collide with the pole.
The Grand Forks Fire Department swiftly responded, extricating Sosa from the wreckage. He was evaluated on the scene by Altru paramedics before being transported to the hospital by ambulance. The Grand Forks Police Department is investigating the accident and encourages anyone who witnessed the incident to come forward with information.
