Saint Paul (trfnews.i234.me) — Mohamud Hillow Bulle, 36, of Minneapolis, has been sentenced to 36 months in prison following a plea deal that downgraded his charge from attempted second-degree murder to second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
The case stems from a September 30, 2024, shooting on the 1400 block of Seventh Street East in Saint Paul, where police found a man with gunshot wounds to the face. The victim later reported that Bulle fired a shot under his chin.
Bulle entered a Norgaard plea, stating memory loss but admitting that available evidence would likely result in a conviction. Officers recovered a .380-caliber handgun from his home.
Bulle will serve two-thirds of his sentence in prison, with the remainder under supervised release, and receive credit for 162 days already served.
